This is my own arrangement of Bach's monumental first Partita, originally written for solo violin. My arrangement essentially sheds light on the implied harmony and illuminates the counterpoint found in this Partita. The polyphonic abilities of the guitar and its ornamental and embellishing abilities makes it a suitable instrument to perform this work. A true masterpiece now made available for guitarists!
